Free speech argument fails in worker’s comp lawsuit

A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled that filing for workers’ compensation is not necessarily protected speech under the First Amendment. A sheriff’s department employee claimed she was fired for filing workers’ compensation claims for carpal tunnel syndrome. -db
